Biography
Evart Overton entered the world on 5 August 1889 in the quiet town of Osborne, Ohio, and stepped onto the screen just as quietly, leaving three bright footprints in 1917: the bottled-up secrets of *The Bottom of the Well*, the high-stakes gamble of *Soldiers of Chance*, and the radiant illusion of *The Glory of Yolanda*.
