Born in Paris, France, on 21 February 1886, Fernand Herrmann became a notable figure in the early days of French cinema. This compelling actor etched his presence onto the screen through significant roles in pioneering silent films. He is widely recognized for his work in Louis Feuillade's legendary serials, most notably "Les Vampires" (1915) and its thrilling chapter, "The Vampires: Satanas" (1916). Herrmann's talent also shone in "Barrabas" (1919). His contributions to film were cut short by his untimely death in April 1925.
