Biography

Born on 18 November 1876 in the coastal city of Mazatlán, Mexico, Fernando Gálvez forged a career on the silver screen that spanned the silent‑era’s most memorable productions. He appeared in Cecil B. DeMille’s pioneering western *The Squaw Man* (1914), then later headlined the adventure drama *Waterfront Wolves* (1924) before delivering a charismatic turn in the light‑hearted *Easy Going Gordon* (1925). Gálvez’s life concluded in Los Angeles, California, where he died on 27 July 1931.
