Biography
A titan of the Mexican silver screen, Fernando Soler began his journey in Saltillo, Coahuila, on May 24, 1895. Throughout his prolific career as both a director and a leading man, he delivered unforgettable contributions to cinema, most notably in the 1939 production Papacito lindo, the 1949 masterpiece The Great Madcap, and El grito de la carne in 1951. Married to Sagra del Río, Soler remained a central figure in the industry until his passing in Mexico City on October 25, 1979.
