Biography
Brooklyn welcomed Florence Malone on 8 October 1891, and before the city could blink she had slipped into the flickering new world of silent pictures. Between 1915 and 1920 she stalked crime rings in *The Suburban*, faced the xenophobic thriller *The Yellow Menace*, and tested the limits of endurance in *The Strongest*. When the cameras quieted, she stepped away from the glare and eventually resettled in Lyons, New York, where she died on 4 March 1956.
