Biography
Rochester, New York, welcomed Forrest Robinson into the world on 2 August 1858. By the time the cameras rolled in Hollywood’s silent era, he had become the craggy-visaged character audiences remembered from Souls for Sale (1923), The Dawn of a Tomorrow (1915), and The Meanest Man in the World (1923). Off-screen, the actor shared his life with wife Mabel Bert. His final curtain fell in Los Angeles on 6 January 1924.
