Biography
Newport, Rhode Island welcomed Francis Byrne on 3 August 1876, and from that seaside cradle he stepped onto early-twentieth-century screens, lending his presence to The Conspiracy (1914), Blind Man’s Luck (1917), and Rose-France (1919). The curtain fell for good on 6 February 1923, when he died in New York City.
