Biography
Frank Carrington first drew breath on 9 March 1858 and spent the next seventy-eight years parlaying that breath into stage and screen presence. His sole surviving cinematic fingerprint is the 1914 one-reeler The $5,000,000 Counterfeiting Plot, where he traded lines with forged banknotes and brought early-movie gravitas to a crime caper. On 5 March 1936, three days short of his seventy-eighth birthday, the curtain rang down for good in Cornwall, New York, leaving the Hudson Valley town as the final footnote to a performer whose life outstripped his screen time.
