Biography
Upper Broughton, Nottinghamshire, greeted Frank Tennant’s first cry on 10 August 1876. By 1915 he had stepped before the cameras, lending quiet gravity to The Little Minister and royal intrigue to Royal Love; the following year he traced a family’s hidden sins in What’s Bred… Comes Out in the Flesh. More than half a century later, on 13 January 1971, the curtain came down in Horsmonden, Kent, where the final credits rolled on a life that spanned ninety-four eventful years.
