Biography
Fred Annerly entered the world on 18 October 1887 somewhere amid the fog and bustle of England. Between the flicker of silent-film lamps he carved a brief but indelible niche: the harried hero of 1914’s The Man from Mexico and, two years later, the relentless avenger driving The Pursuing Vengeance. Sixty years after those fleeting close-ups, the curtain fell for good on 13 November 1967.
