Biography
Born in the heart of Vienna, Austria-Hungary (now Austria), on 16 March 1889, Friedrich Feher embarked on a multifaceted career that would see him leave an indelible mark on early cinema. A versatile artist, Feher deftly balanced his talents as both an actor and a director. He is perhaps best remembered for his involvement in the groundbreaking expressionist film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), but his directorial vision also shaped the musical fantasy The Robber Symphony (1936) and the historical drama William Tell (1913). In his personal life, he was married to Magda Sonja. Feher's significant contributions to film ceased with his passing on 30 September 1950, in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
