Biography
A New York City summer—June 16, 1914—welcomed George Beban Jr. into the world, already carrying a marquee-ready surname. Before he could read, he was stealing scenes alongside his father in Hearts of Men (1919), and by seven he had top billing in One Man in a Million (1921). After a long intermission, he stepped back in front of the cameras for Duke of Chicago (1949), proving the spotlight still remembered his name. The final curtain fell in Burbank, California, on September 28, 1977.
