Biography
George Stillwell first drew breath on 27 May 1883 amid the salt-kissed lanes of Shrewsbury, New Jersey. Between 1914 and 1915 he stepped before the camera three times, lending his presence to the adventure serial Soldiers of Fortune, the elopement melodrama Gretna Green, and the Rome-set epic The Eternal City. His final curtain fell quietly on 14 July 1930, back home in Middletown, New Jersey, where the same coastal breezes that had once rocked his cradle carried him gently out of the spotlight.
