Biography
Giulia Cassini-Rizzotto stepped before the camera just as Italian silent cinema was catching fire, leaving a brief but indelible silhouette on the screen. In 1917 she haunted the corridors of Malombra, and the following year she slipped into both Fabiola and Scugni, three films that still whisper her name more than a century later.
