Biography
Manhattan greeted Grace Williams on 10 October 1894, and before the Roaring Twenties had even cleared their throat she had already flashed across nickelodeon screens. In 1915 alone she traded secrets in *The Truth About Helen*, risked every footstep in *On Dangerous Paths*, then cracked a Cossack’s resolve with *The Cossack Whip* the following year. After the cameras stopped, she slipped from marquee lights into the quiet rhythms of Long Island, where, on 4 January 1987, Mineola became her final set.
