Biography
Before the talkies had found their voice, Gwil Adams had already faced shipwreck and scandal on-screen. In 1914 he stepped into the cloistered guilt of *The Silence of Dean Maitland*, and two years later he was swabbing decks and steering mutiny aboard *The Bounty*, sealing an early, adventurous footprint in the silent-film sands.
