Biography
Before talkies took over, Vienna-born Hans Felix slipped through the flicker of early German cinema like a comet nobody bothered to name. In 1919 he rocked the cradle of international intrigue in *Der Diplomatensäugling*, traded stolen silver for scandalous romance in 1920’s *Der Pokal der Fürstin*, and vanished into the trees—on screen, at least—for 1922’s backwoods fever dream *Wildnis*. Then the lights came up and the projector cooled; Felix walked out of frame, leaving only three surviving reels to prove he was ever there at all.
