Biography
Born in 1858, Harold Hubert stepped onto the stage and, decades later, onto the flickering screen, most memorably in the 1915 anti-war spectacle *The Battle Cry of Peace*. Off-camera he shared his life with another performer, known to playbills simply as Mrs. Harold Hubert. His own final curtain fell in New York City on 31 March 1916.
