Biography
Harry B. Eytinge first drew breath on 5 March 1862 amid the brick-lined streets of Reading, Pennsylvania, and spent the next sixty-six years trading quiet factory-town memories for grease-paint adventures. Between 1912 and 1914 he stalked across early flickering screens—slaying giants in Jack, the Giant Killer, narrating wonder in The Birth of Our Saviour, and dodging cliff-hanging peril in the twelve-part sensation What Happened to Mary. The footlights dimmed for good on 19 October 1928 in the Bronx, New York City, closing the final curtain on a pioneer who helped turn silent shadows into living stories.
