Biography
Harzé stepped in front of the camera three times, each frame sealing a fragment of Belgian cinema’s silent era. In 1914 he appeared in Loyalty, the earliest of the trio; seven years later he surfaced in the resistance newspaper drama La libre Belgique; and in 1928 he closed the cycle with Femme belge Gabrielle Petit, a chronicle of the celebrated war-time spy.
