Biography
Born under the last April sun of 1893, Héctor Quintanilla stepped onto screens with the easy grace of a natural performer. Audiences first felt his spark in the glittering musical *Dancing* (1933), then watched him trade tap shoes for comic timing in *Mi fortuna por un nieto* (1940) and dark humor in *Mañana me suicido* (1942). Nearly two decades after that final role, he took his last bow in Buenos Aires on 1 December 1961, leaving behind a compact filmography that still flickers with charisma.
