Biography
Born in Copenhagen on 5 April 1871, Henny Lauritzen stepped before the camera in the silent era’s twilight years, lending her poise to Prinsessens Hjerte (1916), then to the shadowy corridors of Herregaards-Mysteriet (1917), and later to the lively reels of Vor fælles Ven (1921). Her screen appearances were few yet memorable, and she exited life’s stage on 7 December 1938.
