Biography
Henri Gouget stepped in front of the camera during cinema’s infancy, leaving his silhouette in three 1913–14 Parisian one-reelers: the gadget-laden spy caper *Protéa*, the tongue-in-cheek mad-scientist tale *The Serum of Reason*, and the crime serial’s explosive opener *Zigomar – the Black Scourge, Episode 1*.
