Biography
Hermann Spiro stepped in front of the camera just as Danish silent film was finding its voice: he carried the clandestine intrigue of *Sealed Orders* in 1914, survived the melodramatic storm of *Helgeninderne* seven years later, and rounded off his screen wanderings tickling audiences as the carefree hero of *Lille Lise let-paa-taa* in 1923.
