Biography
Cincinnati welcomed Hosea Steelman on 31 March 1876, and by 1916 he had stepped in front of the camera for The Trail of the Lonesome Pine, anchoring the Appalachian melodrama with a presence now woven into silent-film history. His final curtain fell in Los Angeles on 4 July 1953.
