Biography
Ukrainian director, actor, teacher. Honored Artist of the USSR (1960). Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, with medals. In theatre in Kiev from 1922. Entered films as an actor 1935. Assistant to O. Dovzhenko on the film "Shchors" (1939). Produced (with I. Zemgano) the film "Ukrainian melodies" (1945). Director of the Transcarpathian Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater in Uzhgorod several times 1947 - 1963.
