Biography
A summer day in Copenhagen—26 July 1895—marked the arrival of Ingeborg Spangsfeldt, who would grow up to haunt the silent screens of Denmark. Within three whirlwind years she faced the camera three times: first as the woman tangled with the scarred hero of *Manden med Arret* (1918), then as the chauffeur’s luxury-craving passenger in *Luksuschaufføren* that same year, and finally amid the raw grit of *Sons of the Soil* (1920). Off-screen she exchanged vows with Tage Iversen. On 21 June 1968 the final curtain fell, still in Denmark, closing the story of a face once familiar to flickering audiences across the country.
