Biography
Jack Crawford first drew breath on 4 March 1847 amid the wild Atlantic coast of County Donegal, Ireland. By 1915 he had stepped in front of the camera, lending his weather-worn presence to The Corporal’s Daughter and sounding the alarm in The Battle Cry of Peace. Off-screen he shared his life with Maria Stokes. His final curtain fell on 27 February 1917 in Woodhaven, Long Island, New York.
