Biography
Philadelphia greeted Jack Drumier on 19 October 1867, and from that day forward the city could claim the first scene of a life spent conjuring other lives on-screen. Between 1917 and 1918 he slipped into three very different skins: a web of intrigue in *The Dancer’s Peril*, the dark magnetism of *The Power and the Glory*, and the glittering complications of *The Beautiful Mrs. Reynolds*. Each role flickered briefly in silent darkness, yet his presence lingered like an iris fade. The final curtain fell on 2 April 1929, this time in sun-washed Clearwater, Florida, trading klieg lights for Gulf Coast sun.
