Biography
Long before talkies, James Cooper flickered to life on nickelodeon screens, stealing scenes in 1913’s shadow-laced thriller The Midnight Message and, a year later, sharpening wits in the cinematic take of The School for Scandal. The lights dimmed for good on 26 February 1915, when the New York City streets he once strode claimed him for keeps.
