Biography
A native of Manhattan, Jeanette Hackett entered the world on March 7, 1898, eventually finding her spotlight in the early days of the silver screen. She became a recognizable face through her contributions to 1914’s 'Lord Algy' and 'The Beloved Adventurer,' as well as the 1915 drama 'The Great Ruby.' Throughout her life, she was married to John Steel and Harry Delmar. Hackett’s long history with New York City came to a close when she passed away there on August 16, 1979.
