Biography
Bay City, Michigan greeted Jefferson Osborne on 25 September 1872, and from that Lake Huron shoreline he would travel into flickering limelight. Between 1914 and 1920 he stalked the desert as the doomed hero of *The Last Egyptian*, chased glowing danger through twenty breathless reels of *The Great Radium Mystery*, and swapped city grime for porch-swing wisdom in *Homespun Folks*. The camera finally turned away on 11 June 1932, when the actor’s last scene played out in quiet Hondo, California.
