Biography
A veteran of the frontier turned celluloid scout, Jesse M. Lee first rode into cinema history with The Indian Wars (1914), chronicling the last clashes of a vanishing West. Three years later he saddled up again for The Adventures of Buffalo Bill (1917), swapping campfire smoke for klieg lights to keep the legend alive.
