Biography
Before he became an actor Johannes or Johan Langenaken was a painter. From 1904 he worked as an actor. On stage he appeared with Esther de Boer-van Rijk in "Op hoop van zegen". He formed the stage company "Hollandsche Gezelschap". His wife Anna Langenaken-Kemper and his daughter Annie Langenaken also were actors.
