Biography
Jonna Neiiendam entered the world on 6 June 1872 in Denmark, and the silent screen later echoed with her presence. Audiences first noticed her in the 1912 family drama *Slægten*, felt her fire in the 1917 melodrama *Had og Kærlighed*, and still caught her spark in 1933’s breezy *5 raske piger*. After six and a half decades of performances both onstage and on celluloid, she took her final bow on 7 December 1938, leaving Denmark with a flickering legacy of early Danish cinema.
