Kai Reiners

Biography

Dancer and sometimes actor from a family full of artists of various kinds. Beginning in 1918 and for more than a decade Reiners and his stage partner Emy Ågren were among the best known show dancers in Sweden, appearing in dozens of revues, shows and operettas including a stint at the Coliseum Theatre i London. In the 1930s he got involved in the dancing academy led by famous prima ballerina Jenny Hasselquist, with which he also performed at the 1939 New York World's Fair. Later in life he turned more into acting, both on stage and in a few movies.
