Katherine Vaughn stepped before the camera during the silent era’s infancy, leaving her silhouette on three now-obscure one-reelers: in 1914 she appeared in the morality tale *The House of Bondage*, two years later she surfaced in the melodrama *A Man of Sorrow*, and by 1917 she had slipped into *The Wax Model*, a mystery that briefly flickered across nickelodeon screens before vanishing into nitrate dust.
