Lajos Básti was born on 17 November 1911 in Keszthely, Austria-Hungary [now Hungary]. He was an actor, known for Azurexpress (1938), Kárpáthy Zoltán (1966) and Föltámadott a tenger (1953). He was married to Zsuzsa Zolnay and Violetta Ferrari. He died on 1 June 1977 in Budapest, Hungary.
