Biography
Father was Charles J Leslie, an attorney. Appeared in Meteor (1929) on Broadway with Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne before becoming ill. Lawrence Leslie died of rheumatic heart disease on July 15, 1930. He was about to replace Spencer Tracy in The Last Mile, but had to drop to due to ill health.
