Biography
Leone Papa’s footprints on celluloid stretch from the nickelodeon era to wartime Italy. In 1915 he flexed muscle alongside the mighty Maciste in *Marvelous Maciste*, brawled through the Borgia court for the 1920 epic *I Borgia*, and, two decades later, stepped into the bittersweet reverie of *I nostri sogni* (1943).
