Biography
Born beside the Danube on 27 June 1883, Dunaharaszti’s own Lili K. Hegyi stepped from village quiet onto flickering silent screens. Within a year she galloped into national memory as the fearless heart of *Sárga csikó* (1914), traded mischief for poetry in *Liliomfi* (1915), then lent her voice to revolution in *Petőfi dalciklus* (1918). After the cameras dimmed, she crossed borders and decades, finally closing her eyes in Cluj, Romania, on 2 November 1967—her three surviving films still whispering her name.
