Biography
April 24, 1874: a baby girl drew her first breath on Canadian soil, little knowing the footlights of 1926 would one day catch her in “Partners Again,” or that the cameras of 1940 would twice record her nerve—first in “On the Spot,” then in “Laughing at Danger.” Lillian Elliott traded maple winters for California sun, shared her life with actor James Corrigan, and, after 84 vivid years, took her final bow in Hollywood on January 15, 1959.
