Biography
A November frost greeted Lilly Jansen’s first cry on 28 November 1889 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Before the city’s gaslights dimmed for good, she had slipped into flickering black-and-white legend through Mysteriet Blackville (1916), Den kvindelige Spion fra Balkan (1912), and Gud raader (1912). She exited the world’s stage on 26 June 1963.
