Biography
Hailing from the Swiss village of Gorgier, Louis Leubas entered the world on December 23, 1869, eventually carving out a legacy as a cornerstone of early silent cinema. He is most celebrated for his contributions to the shadowy world of 'Les Vampires' (1915), as well as his performances in the 1916 installments 'The Vampires: Satanas' and 'The Vampires: The Thunder Master.' His journey through the dawn of film history concluded on August 29, 1932, in the French commune of Digne-les-Bains.
