Biography
Born in 1850, Louise Rial stepped before the camera when movies were still learning to speak, bewitching audiences in A Daughter of the Gods (1916), The Spider and the Fly (1916), and My Little Sister (1919). Off-screen, she shared her life with fellow performer James “Jay” Rial. Her final curtain fell on 9 August 1940 in New York City.
