Biography
A winter baby delivered on 10 December 1867 in Shreveport, Louisiana, Lucia Moore grew up to trade bayou sunsets for klieg lights. Between 1914 and 1916 she slipped into three very different skins: the wary innocent of *The Lure*, the mischief-maker at the heart of *Little Miss Happiness*, and the woman leading a clandestine double existence in *Her Double Life*. New York City, where her final curtain fell in April 1932, became both her last stage and her perpetual spotlight.
