Born in Brooklyn on Christmas Day, 1889, Lucille Lee Stewart became a luminous fixture of early motion pictures. Her screen career was highlighted by her work in the 1916 features His Wife's Good Name and The Destroyers, as well as the 1918 film The Eleventh Commandment. In her private life, she was wed to the prominent Ralph Ince. Stewart’s storied life reached its conclusion in Hemet, California, where she passed away on January 8, 1982.
