Biography
Ludwig Trautmann entered the world on 22 November 1885 in Dasebach an der Esch, Luxembourg, eventually making his mark as a distinguished actor and director of the silent screen. He is celebrated for his cinematic contributions in the mid-to-late 1910s, most notably for his work on Brössings sind geadelt (1916), as well as the 1918 productions Der König ihres Herzens and Nordlicht. His long life in the arts reached its final chapter in West Berlin on 24 January 1957.
