Biography
Malcolm Head slips through the cracks of silent-era legend, yet his face—framed by flickering nitrate—still flickers back from three cornerstones of early cinema. In 1915 he stepped aboard the con-artist caper *The New Adventures of J. Rufus Wallingford*, dodging schemes that raced across the screen like ticker-tape. A year later he swapped grifts for gambles in *The Lottery Man*, where fortunes changed as fast as the reels spun. By 1918 he had taken holy orders—at least on film—appearing in *The Missionary*, a tale that traded racetracks for redemption.
