Biography
A crisp autumn day—3 November 1896—welcomed Margaret Edwards into the world in Berkeley, California. By her late teens she had traded classroom chalk for klieg lights, stepping before the camera in A Physical Culture Romance (1914) and sparkling the following year in Sunshine Molly (1915). Off-screen, she linked her life with Bernal Auturio Romero, the man who became her husband. More than six decades after her silver-screen debut, she drew her final breath in Glendale, Los Angeles, on 5 October 1976.
